Contraindications

• Although there are no known drug interactions, because many drugs (especially hormones) are detoxified in the liver by binding them to glucoronic acid, conceivably taking calcium D-glucarate could increase the elimination of the drug or hormone from the body, thereby reducing its effectiveness.
• If you are taking any prescription medication, consult your health care practitioner prior to using calcium D-glucarate.
