Contraindications

• None known.
• Herbs that promote flushing may also stimulate uterine contractions, so the Diuretic Formula is not recommended during pregnancy, or for persons with serious kidney disease, except under the advice of a health care practitioner.
• Experts recommend that uva ursi should not be taken for more than 7 days.
• Juniper requires some caution because it can irritate the kidneys, especially with long-term use.
• We recommend that any formula that contains juniper not be used for longer than six weeks at a time.

Uva Ursi Extract: an effective diuretic that stimulates the kidneys, thereby increasing urine flow.

Dandelion leaf: a gentle diuretic that contains enough potassium to compensate for what is lost during urination.

Juniper Berry Extract: diuretic action is caused by the volatile oils, particularly terpinen-4-ol, that increase urine volume.

Cranberry Extract: stimulates urination and helps flush away waste.

Parsley Root Powder: an excellent diuretic, and also prevents salt from being reabsorbed by body tissues.
